Hi Everyone! Introductions are probably in order… We are Bull Valley Hardwood – a new hardwood mill, kiln drying operation, and retail store in Woodstock, Illinois. We were founded just a couple short months ago by three (yes, three!) generations of DeSertos – all passionate woodworkers.<\/p>\n

Many of you know us already, as we have been ramping up operations “under the radar” for a few weeks now, and all the while setting relationships up with suppliers like Mirka, Sansin, and Titebond (so far).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We currently have thousands of board feet of lumber – walnut, cherry, ash, hickory, maple, oak, sycamore, and more – in 4\/4, 5\/4, 6\/4, 8\/4 and 10\/4 slabs. Do we have 10-12′ lengths? Yup. Widths up to 30″? Yup. Straight edge? Live edge? What about exotics? Yup, yup and yup. (Unless someone else comes in and scoops it all up before you can get here.) And don’t forget to see our Designer’s Corner – with all kinds of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.<\/p>\n

The BIG NEWS, though, is that we have our official Grand Opening Event<\/strong> scheduled for Saturday January 16th, from 9am-5pm<\/strong>.!!! We really, really, really want to see you there, so please join us. And to prove that we are NOT above bribing you to come – we will be serving free lunch from 11am-2pm, and giving away over $1,000 in prizes: a new Mirka Ceros orbital sander, a gift card for free hardwood, product packs from Mirka, Sansin and Titebond, and more! We will also have company reps from all 3 companies\u00a0at the event – performing\u00a0product demos, answering questions, and giving away EVEN MORE goodies!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So, please come and celebrate with us.
